Within the framework of the CUBE project, the German partners work closely with three Cuban core partners. They are sub-departments or research stations of three different Cuban universities. A training and extension institution belonging to the Cuban Ministry of Agriculture is also a partner. In addition, relevant key actors participate in the elaboration of bioeconomy strategies that allow socially balanced territorial development processes.
